Ikebana has been part of my study of Japanese aesthetics for many years. In each session, I guide you to look closely at the material in front of you—its direction, character and natural movement—then discover how line and ma can bring the arrangement to life.
花材を観る
まず、枝や花をよく
観察します。
向き、曲線、重さ、
そして一つひとつの
花材が本来持っている個性に目を向けます。
主となる線を見つける
数本の枝を選び、花材が伸びていく方向や
姿を生かしながら、
作品全体の流れを
つくっていきます。
「間」をつくる
枝と枝、花と花の
あいだに余白を残し、
それぞれの線や姿が
生きる空間を
つくります。
全体を整える
線、花、余白のバランスを見ながら細やかに整え、自然な動きと
生命感が残るように
仕上げていきます。
Session Information
Online Session
60 minutes ￥10,000
Materials are prepared by the participant. After booking, Kumiko will send a simple materials guide based on the season and what is readily available where you live.
Before the session, you may send a photo of your materials so the lesson can be adapted to what you have.
In-Person Session
60 minutes ￥15,000
Materials included.
Sessions are arranged by appointment.
After receiving your request, Kumiko will confirm availability and any materials you may need. Payment details are provided once the date is confirmed.
Cancellation Policy
