At Mind-free Calligraphy, we take pride in providing authentic and high-quality Japanese calligraphy products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.

 

1. Legal Compliance

 

This policy is established in accordance with:

  • The Act on Specified Commercial Transactions of Japan (特定商取引法)

  • The Civil Code of Japan (民法)

We are committed to consumer rights and transparency in line with Japanese e-commerce laws.

 

2. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

 

You may request a return or refund under the following conditions:

  • Damaged or defective items

  • Incorrect product delivered

  • Order lost or undelivered (with verified tracking)

We do not accept returns for the following:

  • Change of mind or customer error

  • Opened/used ink, brushes, or consumables (for hygiene reasons)

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

 

3. Return Period

  • You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order if there is a problem.

  • Returned items must be shipped back to us within 14 days from the date of notification.

  • Returns must be sent in original packaging, unused, and in resaleable condition.

 

4. Return Procedure

 

To initiate a return, please:

  1. Email us at [Your Email] with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product if damaged.

  2. Wait for a Return Authorization (RA) before shipping the item.

  3. Ship the product to the address provided with tracking.

 

5. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the product is defective or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping cost.

  • For other cases (e.g., customer-initiated return, delivery refusal), the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs, including the original shipping fee.

 

6. Refunds

 

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • A refund will be issued to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)

  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider

  • Shipping fees and handling charges are non-refundable unless the product was faulty or incorrectly delivered

 

7. Exchanges

 

We only offer replacements for defective or damaged items, subject to availability. Please contact us promptly if an exchange is needed.

 

8. International Orders

 

Please note:

  • Customs duties or taxes paid are non-refundable.

  • Delays caused by customs are not grounds for refund.

  • Lost packages will be investigated via the postal carrier before any refund or replacement is approved.

2. 返品および返金の対象


以下の場合に限り、返品または返金を承ります：

  • 商品が破損していた、または不良品だった場合

  • 誤った商品が届いた場合

  • 配送中に商品が紛失した場合（追跡が確認された場合）


次の場合は返品を受け付けません：

  • ご注文内容の変更や、お客様の誤注文

  • インクや筆、消耗品などを開封または使用した場合（衛生上の理由）

  • 特注品やカスタマイズされた商品

  • セール品やアウトレット商品（不良品を除く）


3. 返品手続き

 

  • 返品のご連絡は商品到着後7日以内にお願いいたします。

  • 商品の返品は通知後14日以内に発送していただく必要があります。

  • 返品される商品は、未使用の状態で元のパッケージに入れて返送してください。


4. 返品手続きの流れ


返品をご希望の場合、以下の手順でお手続きをお願いいたします：

  1. 注文番号と返品理由を記載し、商品の写真（破損や不良の場合）を添えて、[あなたのメールアドレス] にご連絡ください。

  2. **返品承認番号（RA）**をお送りいたしますので、承認番号を受け取った後、商品を発送してください。

  3. 指定された住所に商品を追跡可能な方法で返送してください。


5. 返品送料について

 

  • ​不良品または誤配送の場合、返品にかかる送料は当店が負担いたします。

  • その他の場合（お客様都合での返品など）は、返品送料をお客様にご負担いただきます。また、元の発送費用は返金対象外です。

 

6. 返金について

 

返品商品を受け取り、検品した後、以下の手続きが行われます：

  • 返金は元のお支払い方法（クレジットカード、PayPal等）に処理されます。

  • 返金処理には5～10営業日程度かかる場合があります。

  • 送料および手数料は、商品に不具合があった場合を除き、返金されません。

 

7. 交換について

 

交換は不良品または破損品に限り対応いたします。交換品が在庫にある場合に限り、交換を承りますので、速やかにご連絡ください。

 

8. 海外注文について

 

海外への発送については以下の点をご留意ください：

  • 関税や輸入税などの追加料金は返金されません。

  • 通関での遅延は返金対象外となります。

  • 配送中の紛失については、配送業者に調査を依頼した後、返金または再発送を検討いたします。
